Center column under dash screw : does this thread directly into the carbon fiber?

question for anyone who has removed the plastic center channel cover under the dash, behind the climate controls and toggle switches.

This screw has come out and i'm having trouble threading it back in.

My question is whether there is a nut in order to secure this bolt, or should it screw directly into the carbon fiber (via a threaded piece - which may have fallen out)

note: i've had the escort 360 control panel mounted back there which is the controller piece showing.
- thanks in advance for the help

There is a threaded clip that it screws into. It tends to move around /fall off. You may want to remove that whole piece to find it. I've removed it a few times and it's a pain to put it back together without them moving on you. Sometimes you can adjust where they are with a punch through the hole if it is close, but slightly mis-alligned.
