When attempting to spray windshield washing fluid, the pressure is very low - it looks more like the fluid is leaking onto the windshield, than a serious spray..:-/ Has anybody else tried theirs? I´d expect this from a seventies Alfa, but this kind of issue with a new car is a bit underwhelming...
Sounds like my GTV. Not really a problem though, as the wipers do the spreading. It's not like the wider spray from other cars actually cleans the screen any better.
Did a fair bit of spraying with my car and never experienced any problems screen is properly sprayed with enough pressure. Empty bottle:huh: or perhaps a loose, leaking or pinched hose?
Thanks, Willem. When I took over the car (it was the importers press car) the flexible hose from the reservoir was not attached to the thin plastic lines going to the spray nozzles. When attached, it was bent around 180 degrees, and I think this could be part of the reason for the low pressure. The car is going back to the dealer for the winter, so I'll ask them to have a look. Normally , I'd fix it myself, but I don't know how to remove the bonnet - yet...
Removing the bonnet is easy...
Only loosening some screws by the windshield and some hidden ones behind the two frontwheels. That's all.
But first you have to place the screen whiper in an almost vertical position and loosen the flexibel hose to the washing fluid.
