Test setup was a temp sensor probe in the inlet hose to the intercooler, and another in the outlet hose from the intercooler. OBDII diagnostics for engine rpm and boost pressure, mass air flow, etc.

(1) both cores off the car on test bench, compressed air flow (with warmer), primary fan on core passages (I did not use any of this data in the charts, but it was fairly consistent with the other results) This was done to observe heat dissipation for my own interest.

(2) Street/road driving, same temp sensor setup and readings.

(3) Driving on the dyno (with fan support on the intercooler ducting), same temp sensor setup and readings.

After testing, the results from (2) and (3) were fairly consistent. There was so much data, I averaged all of the information from (2) and (3). I was surprised to see that both cores (stock and upgraded) dropped temps at idle as much as they did. Difference being, after about 7 minutes, the stock core just stopped dropping. The remaining 3 minutes revealed some additional drop for the upgraded core, but it fell stagnant near ambient (for obvious reasons). All idle testing was done after driving, not starting up from a stop (I wanted to try and simulate running heat soak). It's possible the cruise down time with airflow allowed this drop to occur closer to ambient (I've measured on the dyno it takes roughly 15-30 seconds for the turbo to spin down after cruising and deceleration). I'm sure that if I continued to wait at idle for another 5-10 minutes, core temps would have began to increase again, but both the stock core and upgraded core were tested identically. That's the only explanation I have for the idle temp readings. Ultimately I am more concerned with temps under driving and performance demands.

Disclaimer: the post intercooler probe is an integrated plugin for the dyno system (meaning it can be run into a computer, standalone handheld, or plugged directly into the dyno to display temp data from the decided location). I have found it's margin for error is +/- 2.5 degrees F, so take that into account. On the dyno testing, the air flow over the car from fans (while not significant) will have made a difference in the idle temps, however the street ambient testing was close in results under idle conditions.

I see you have a muffler , how much louder or pronounced would it be with sports exhaust both stock and with catless down pipe

He has the Centerline Stradale which is resonated. With the Corsa it is the same pops and bangs but it sounds like it is banging inside a hollow pipe and is more pronounced but the exhaust is more pronounced in itself
