Haas looked very fast again.

I agree with Rossberg. The penalty to Grosjean is a Pit Wall failure. They should be telling their drivers where the traffic is. Rear View Mirrors only go back so far. All of the other teams do it. It's unfortunate, but I guess these are things that a young team needs to learn.
Hopefully they don't mess up any pit stops because they have a chance to snag good points again.

I take back what I said earlier. This race is too late. I much prefer waking up and being able to immediately watch the race .

If you have followed my posts, don't be surprised that Ferrari's tweaks to cooling weren't enough. They roasted part of hybrid energy system because full architecture change to cooling due early June at GP of Canada.

They gambled and got straight line speed back by running power unit fully , but miscalculated how many laps it'd hold up.

Sucks

What you've said makes sense, however during the race Nico Rosberg commented that in Australia Ferrari cooled too much, and did not keep enough heat in the power unit.

That was heartbreaking.

Kid drove an amazing race. The first couple of laps were incredible and he took the fastest lap of the race.
Uggggh

Just goes to show how important being smooth and reliable is.

WTF happened to both Renaults?

Raikkonen had a solid race and brought home some good points again. He is showing Alfa Romeo that they made a good decision in snagging him.

Verstappen continues to be the biggest PITA to pass and Sainz paid the price for that.

@Maxster Actually, Seb is in self-destruction mode. The Prancing horse (with Charlie boy) is back swinging. I'm sure they'll figure out the turbo failure and only improve reliability, because clearly they set the tone as far as overall speed. BTW, nice seeing a little life in Mclaren.

@QUADRIFOGLIO VERDE - - - Oh, Nico was so close to being right. In Australia, Ferrari were running more air to cool things as parts repackaged to rear weren't cooling and they played it safe with all parameters. They have a cooling problem; they attempted to make adjustments to rectify it, without too much drag, and they won't be out of woods til Canada.

Leclerc was interviewed on British TV yesterday and said his slow Ferrari in Oz was due to bad braking (not cooling). Said he couldn't get confidence in his unpredictable and weak brakes and they cost him a lot of lap time.

Vettel is looking old and exhausted and his skills are fading rapidly with age. He peaked young. Probably wise for him to retire at the end of this season. Leclerc is going to crush him (unless Ferrari rig his car).

Leclerc is a champion in the making. He drove brilliantly and didn’t get phased by any of the things that happened to him.
He blew the formation lap and thereby didn’t have the best start. But didn’t take long to get from 3rd to 1st and get several times the fastest lap. Bad luck on the failure, but lady luck still let him podium.
And he proved his point to Binotto, too. I hope Ferrari took notice and appreciate what they have in their junior driver!

Impressed with Hamilton as well. He showed that he’s a true champion, congratulating and talking Charles up. That might be a real dueling pair as the season progresses.

Seb has always been temperamental. He fought his way back after spinning, but he had no business not being able to pass all of those cars again. He’d have never caught Verstappen. Unless Max also made a fatal mistake.

That was an exciting race from start to finish.

I do hope that Ricciardo gets to finish a race sometime soon. He’s such a nice guy, good driver, and ambassador for the sport.

LeClerc didn't have brake issues in Australia; rather, he has been under direct order not to discuss cooling problems.
