Bought the PowerFlex street version motor mount reinforcing bushing last Wednesday and installed it this morning. Great improvement in throttle pick-up and changes. No more drive-train snatch/flex... Throttle inputs and closures are smooth and creamy.
Alfa still has their "legendary" build quality. When I removed the little shield right beneath the mount one of the RHMSs stripped and pulled the threaded insert out. I had to replace the insert and the bolt...

Installation time was about 90 minutes including a run to the hardware store for helicoils and new machine screws.

Coolest thing was backing the car up the ramps (I made a set of adapters out of 4 x 8s) so I didn't have to jack it up.

Replaced passenger side race harness with pull-down style.
Major improvement.
Install was easy, but cost me $80 for an emergency Saturday chiropractor visit.
Typing this from bed with a Tylenol buzz.
:-(

Hahahaha omg too funny. Glad it’s not just me.
(Not laughing at you. Laughing at the sad reality of getting old. It’s funny ‘cause it’s true)

I guess I could shoot a few pictures of the blocks and what I did to make them... I could also get my wife or daughter film me running the car back up the ramps and post that... Whatever you guys would be interested in.
Normally I would have put the car up on the lift but moving the Spider Veloce and the Ferrari seemed like more trouble than it was worth especially since I already had the ramp adapters (I actually made them several years ago), it was clear and in the low 60s and it didn't appear to be a long effort.

You guys let me know what you want to see...

The hardest thing to learn to do is to gently back up the ramps using only the hand brake because using the foot brakes puts the car in neutral and you don't want to drive over the ramps or get the car rocking up and down. Just take your time and go easy...

You said it, brother.
Donít you worry, @Treetopflyer , your time will come!

I was in too much pain to remove a pair of vice grips from a bolt head under the car. Iíd better remember to take that off before taking the car out for itís spring leg stretch.
Now THATíS funny!
Hope Iím able to get myself into the car to do that by next weekend.

When you get old, you're supposed to install all the ADA-mandated toys to help you wrench:
