Love American cops.

Drive around like a Wild West sheriff all day, everyone is your b*tch, and shoot anyone you don't like. It is a cool job.

As for training, I've watched the Police Academy movies

So much utter BS being spewed about police officers. I find it offensive and ignorant. They are human and can make the same mistakes we all do. For the most part, the ones I've worked with were wonderful people.

Agree 100%. Most police training in America are 6 months plus of intense training, not the average 2-3 hours of college classes a day. Additionally, they are always training beyond their academy days.

Furthermore, most major cities pay decent money to police officers, often making more than 6 figures a year. Yes, bad apples do exist, but it’s the minority. Most are very nice and highly trained individuals.

Besides, SOMEBODY has to keep the donut shops in business!

Agreed. I've yet to come across an unreasonable one.
Treat them with respect and they have always done the same for me.

A few I've dealt with weren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer, though.

Still, I wouldn't want to be one - especially in the USA - for all the money in the world.

Anyway, what did I do with my 4C today?
NOTHING. Absolutely nothing.
Every time I want to get it out for spring service, we get snow. Today was freezing rain. Hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Agree and Agree Hornetball. I will only add that donít skimp on their training. Can you imagine having to do their job?! Itís got to be tough and they deserve your respect.
That being said police officers are strangers with guns to you and you could have a bad one so just be clear you are respectful and keep your wits about you and the 99.9% a time you will be fine.
Coincidently I just watched the movie The Mule last night. Thereís a very somber part of the movie where an innocent person is pulled over and he has quite the soliloquy about how these five minutes of his life while being pulled over are statistically the most dangerous five minutes of his life.
Itís a good point everyone needs to understand. You donít want to act like an ass clown during those five minutes or there could be a misunderstanding and you could end up dead. If parents would teach their kids this and about obeying about police officers there would be much less problems.

Ok Iíll start and try to get this back on topic.

Yesterday I discovered no matter what car Iím a very dirty driver!

Earlier I put up a post showing a big pile of debris from my 4C I cleaned out, about 5lbs!
Well yesterday I had my Guilia QV up on the rack and cleared out about 4lbs!
Just look at that Giulia QV rear underbody panel with itís air scoops and aerodynamics. They really scoop up everything then dump it inside the car! Glad the 4C does not have that.

This afternoon I took my 4C to the PPF man, oh its was in the middle of nowhere with speed humps approaching, so I was gingerly driving up to them and parked to get out and have a look at the spoiler, all ok and whilst driving over I opened my door to check the sills, all ok! But the car goes into neutral if you open your drivers door. Looks like we have 100mm clearance which isn't too bad. I even took a spirit level and tape measure to check the height of the humps :/

Need to wait for his quote now, he was working on a huge Bentley 2 door saloon, wheels off and huge brakes on show. But he loved my car.

Heading home I hit the dual carriageway bypass and slipped into D mode in the fast lane and wow the exhaust did a huge explosive rattle fart, I love how it varies so much depending on revs and speed, lol, what a wonderful car, we are so lucky !!

If you open the door before turning the car off, some of us have encountered the shift to Neutral.

And yes, we're VERY Lucky!!!

Much better than the crap which stuck to the magnet from the GTV's bowels last week... Lots more than the stupid bolt I had dropped there a few minutes before... So I put it up on the lift to probe a bit more into that beautiful red painted underbody which the old girl had come with only two years before... Surprise ...
Guess what I'll be doing this summer... Screenshot_20190324-091403.jpgDSC_0509.jpgDSC_0496.jpg
