Also, these will be going to the higher volume dealerships - they typically don't become a high volume dealer by price gouging. At least these are things I keep telling myself as I hope to get the call for one of these .

The main options I've seen listed are - Misano Blue color, the # plaque, smooth gloss piano black trim around the front grille and under the rear bumper (vs textured matte black on other 4C models), spider Italia decals outside and dash badge on the passenger side, and the akrapovic exhaust. I haven't seen any official mention of the CF halo, but as you said the Chicago auto show model had that. It also had the CF mirrors and I think the Euro Spider Italia's have body color mirrors.
The one in Chicago had pretty much every available option so the 5K extra would be a good deal.

Received an email from Alfa yesterday stating the dealers have been picked, and one for the fifteen will be available to me. I was on my way to see Richard Fisher’s (owner of the Alfa Romeo Chicago) personal 4C. He put 25K into mods. Hard choice to be made here soon.

Are you saying you must decide between the new Azzure 'Italia 4C' and the dealer's own used 4C w/ 25K in mods?

Need to know more about the dealer's car. 25k can ruin a car just as much as enhance it. So few people get mods right (most can't even choose the proper aftermarket rims) that I'd be curious to see and know more of it.

That car seems amazing.

That is a tough call since I'm guessing we will be looking at full boat sticker on the Italia which is kinda like paying 6-10K over standard 4C market value with all the inventory and amazing deals out there.

Yeah, the car was done right! This was the 3rd 4C I have driven, and it was clearly a different experience. In a great way! He is also throwing in bolt tighting and seat adjustments.
This would also be a private party transaction, so no sales tax.

Every state is different, but Illinois rule is if you buy a car from an individual and not a dealer the MAXIMUM you pay in sales tax is around $1500 and then goes lower than that based on the sale price of the car
