I'm sure they got multiple inquiries yesterday, so no surprise a marketing group had an answer. Like I said, my guy Marco didn't know and just forwarded.

Anyway, hopes have been dashed. I confess that I am more glad there isn't some oddball QV cobbled together. I would prefer subtle aggression outside and something beastly under the skin.

Agree. Although I suspect that had this car been green-lighted for further development, it would have emerged with a few tricks up its fenders. Alfa would have been pilloried if it released a QV consisting of just a body kit on stock running gear.

Frankly, i don’t find it in the least attractive, and not a patch on the looker that they gave us. If that was the 4C, I wouldn’t likely be here today. As Alfanut said, there are aftermarket parts available to get 80% of the way to this appearance, and if that is where anyone wants to spend their money then more power to them. Not for me, though.

Yeah, I'm familiar with all those options … but they just don't tick the boxes for me. Instead I sent a boatload of cash to POGEA to design me an all forged carbon widebody, 1 of 1 Spyder. Of course the rest of their attention to details will go with it. Just with the 4C, I didn't feel like hodge-podge piecing together the car I want. I've done that over an over with other cars in the past.

If this kit was offered as a dealer installed option, I bet they would have sold enough to make it worthwhile. A bit too late now though.

That sounds interesting. Any photos of your Pogea produced spyder?

Wow. +1 for more info on that!

As for Alfa “selling enough to make it worthwhile”, I’d take that bet as I’m not convinced they sold enough 4C’s to make the entire project “worthwhile” from a purely profit perspective. Fortunately for us all, that was not what this car was all about.
