Red face

I have always been a sucker for things of great beauty, with gorgeous curves in a red dress....

Alfa made the 4C & I had to have one....

And to quote Jason Cammissa "The car is rolling, screaming Italian pornography - I love every last bit of it"

The car gives me a huge grin every time I look at it and drive it.... not many motor vehicles can do that to you.

Cheers,

Alf.

What made my decision to buy the 4C... looks, carbon fiber tub, lightweight, uniqueness, simplicity (engine, equipment etc) and reasonable price.
I don't think I would have pulled the trigger if it has an aluminum chassis weighing 2,700lb plus, in which case it's too much like just another sports car in the category.

tldr entire thread, but ......

Sold my beloved R8 V10 6m since it was out of warranty (I rarely keep cars past their factory warranty) and the car had some major maintence coming up and it was getting old (2010 1st gen). I was looking at getting the new Supra. Glad I didn't. A couple yrs ago ... saw a red 4C in front of my office. Fell in love. Never test drove the car. Read of the reviews. Followed this forum and then bought a brand new 17 fully loaded.

A T33 Stradale would have been my first choice, but availability and pricing were barriers. The 4C was the most obvious alternative.

Three reasons:

1. It looks good.
2. Wanted to tick the Alfa box.
3. Wanted a droptop.

Only wish they'd given it an extra 50-100bhp. That would make it perfection.

Ok,

I've always wanted a Ferrari..especially a modern classic like the 360 Modena. I just kept shying away on the possibility this might be a very expensive exercise one day.

You have to be realistic that not everthing will be OK all the time!

Then the Alfa gods introduced the 4c! enough said.

Value for money, looks, servicing, after market go faster bits, street creed, Exclusivity, you cant beat or very very hard to beat the 4c.

I now line up 360's and say bye bye!! LOL!

Grateful for the 4c. Who knows. Maybe in 15 years these cars will appreciate. Never know
Do it as soon as you find the right car. I am blessed to have found a nice 328 a few years ago, and with the 4C the two are perfect stablemates, in a constant silent war of Italian redness. Even the driving experiences satisfy different senses. But come Monday, thank God for a big fat sedan to drive! Good luck, and I mean it, satisfy that thirst. And I say that being quite selfish, as I can't wait to hear your joy and experience from it all.

sadly I’ll never likely be able to afford the 308. But the4c has more than adequately filled the void. I honestly feel very lucky to be fortunate enough to be able to own one.

A 308 is cheaper than a 4C (at least the purchase price). Maintenance may be a slightly different story but they aren't that bad as far as Ferraris go.
