When the black front grill gets too many knicks....consider painting it with bed liner.....it will look just as good as the stock but will be bullet proof. That is one area that it makes more sense to do the bed liner instead of PPF on it.

I normally do the track package but debating the whole vehicle. If you don’t mind sharing, what the total cost for doing the full vehicle? I was quoted over $5k which seems high for such a small vehicle, especially have the Spider roof.

I had the local XPEL shop do it directly (not a 3rd party installer) and it cost me $4800. XPEL had quoted roughly $5k when i went to them directly, the dealership got a slightly better pricing @ $4800, so I used the dealers discount to have mine done. As I said, expensive, but THE single best $$$ spent on the car to date (and I have spent A LOT).

Couldn’t agree more, hence doing it on my Giulia QV and Stelvio QV too. For some reason, I feel better about having it on the car, so I don’t worry as much about it getting trashed on these horrible roads with spotty pothole repair jobs recently done. Lots of stones kicked up by other cars.

I have been sooo happy with it that I would very likely do the bumper, hood, front quarter panels, and possibly rear bumper on any future nice car purchase.

The Spider is more difficult than the coupe. When I had my Spider wrapped last year, the Xpel software did not have templates for the Spider. Thus, most of the rear had to be cut from flat sheet. My installer said the engine bay/trunk lid was one of the more difficult installations he'd ever done. Access under the halo was particularly hard. He wasted a lot of expensive film before he got it right. $5k is certainly in the ballpark.

One highly variable cost factor is how much paint correction is needed before the film is installed.

My quote was $5,500 for a full car at $1,295 for the Ceramic. Believe in the product but would rather save a few grand by only doing the track package and either doing spacers and upgrading the tires or MPSS tires & Titan7s wheels. Definitely appreciate added expense because of the complexity of the shape, but how long I intend to keep it (tbd), is the real deciding factor. Still awaiting the title from the seller’s bank to finally register it.

I had mine done too but wasn’t happy with how they looked. Too many curves resulting in too many visible edges of the PPF. So I took it off.
