So I drove the car from forth worth Texas to Melbourne Fl totaling 1.3k miles, and 17 hours of driving. With a couple hours of breaks throughout the trip, it took a while to get used to the steering “drift” and tramlining due to the very poor condition roads, but the car ran flawlessly. It feels like it’s on a rail when cutting up on the interstate. dynamic is the only way to drive it as natural feels much more relaxed and softer in my experience so far. Not sure if it makes a ton of difference, maybe you guys can tell me if you notice big differences between the modes?

It came with all the original Alfa accessories, authentication placard and a huge folder full of service records along with 8k of services done to the car before pickup, free tires/allignment, oil/fluid changes, brake pads, etc.

However there does seem to be a few issues:

When under acceleration I hear loud rapid clicking towards the drivers side dashboard of the car. Not sure what that is.

when pulling out of a steep parking lot the front bumper dragged hard and cracked the entire bottom side of it. So I’ll have to figure out how it fix it (can’t see it unless you look underneath)

The right side intake inlet looks like it’s about to fall off. It almost looks like it’s held on with tape or some kind of adhesive pads. I’m not sure if this is common with these or not?

Otherwise the bolt tightening and timing belts need to be done however as previously recommended in comments on my other post. I’ll be scheduling a service with my Alfa dealer (5 minutes away) to get that done. All around the board it’s the best car I’ve owned yet, and I feel like I really got a steal!!

Also: I don’t think I’ll be doing any mods except changing the wheels to the oem 4C 18” and 19” round ‘5 spoke set’. Not sure what they’re called but after maintenance I’ll be ordering those.

Also, a few other things with the car:

it says “speed limit reached” once I go over 70mph. Idk how to change that or why that’s even on. It lights up my entire dashboard when it does it too, blinding me at night haha

the speedometer is off. Unfortunately I got pulled over for speeding on an empty back road in Mississippi. Somehow a cop followed me there and clocked my speed and said I was doing 77 in that 55 zone. My speedometer only said 74mph and I also notice my google maps reads a different speed than my speedometer as well. So idk why it’s off by 2-3mph

also, the car says “check right front turn signal” and check “stop lights” but I checked them and they’re fine. Anyone else experienced this before?

I bought my car brand new at Essence. It's changed names a few times since. When I start the car I automatically switch to Dynamic. And the side scoop on mine is solid.

Sounds like some screws need tightening on your dash. Bummer about the scrape on the nose. You'll learn to angle into stuff to prevent that. Knock on wood, I haven't scraped yet.

Buy your wheels from @John4C lighter wheels better looking and likely less expensive than purchasing OEM... View attachment 171862 not my car but I have a ton of members cars on my screensaver
That’s mine with a mates’ Brera Spider behind at Colo Riverside. Wheels are BSPK Stefanias in Matrix Gold, 17x7.5” and 18x9”.

The issue with your speedo you’ll just have to live with. It’s way out of synch with reality, I always use Waze / google to let me know how fast I’m really going. All speedos are out by a degree but I find the 4C particularly poor.

Enjoy the car 👍🏻
