4C idling (is this an issue?)

So when idling, my 4C will intermittently drop to a low RPM range (600-700) then shoot back up to 900-1k. It causes the car to vibrate a lot when doing it. Is this normal for these engines or should it be a steady smooth rpm? Video below 👇

Mine has these sudden "gunshots" at idle, it loses maybe 50 to 100 rpm for an instant and goes back to normal.
Given how our cars are made, I can feel them clearly throughout the cabin. They happen every 3-5 seconds when standing at a red light, you can actually hear them from the exhaust as well.

I had my Alfa garage look into it, they said it was known to them and all the 4Cs they look after do it to some extent. I wasn't convinced, so they had me jump into a 2019 Spider they had there for sale with 1200 miles on the clock and it did the very same thing mine does.

Anyone has had the same experience?

Let me know if anything changes!
I have the next service scheduled for November, I could get my battery replaced then… or earlier even, probably non-OEM batteries are just as good and a fair bit cheaper than the Alfa thing.
