You didn't say what color of thread, so I just used some I had lying around. You'd be better off asking @lars since he's the stitch master. This is the best I could come up with:

Had the vinyl wrap from the previous owner removed from the roof. Back to au nuturale.

One note from my experience. When they removed the wrap there was some yellowing of the white underneath. It seems like that’s sometimes an issue with black viny on white paint, especially with age. They buffed out most of it but not all of it. However, after looking around it seems like just getting some sun on the car helps with it, and after a couple of days out I’ve found that to be the case. Can’t see any difference at this point. Just in case you change your mind at some point.

Yeah I had that with my last car, got me pretty nervous but 2 days in the sun and it was back to normal again
