4C Secondary Cooling Electric Pump

As previously discussed, I have a 4C Launch Edition that I recently acquired back in June 2025. The workshop mechanic said that I have an additional cooling electric pump in the front compartment (in addition to the main one in the back of the car). I couldn’t find any information about the existence of a secondary cooling pump in the 4C anywhere. When we opened the front to check, I found a Bosch Maserati Electric pump installed on my car as shown in the picture! It seems as a pump for Maserati Levante and Ghibli V6 engines 🤣. Do the experts think this is something aftermarket or possibly something dedicated to hot countries like UAE? Mine is a 51/100 Launch Edition for Gulf countries.

I really have no idea as I have no expertise here. I will order the part anyway, and get it replaced and ask the question to the mechanic. Probably Alfa added this as an additional cooling system to cars in hot countries such as UAE. I very much doubt that someone will install a Maserati electric pump as a modification in the 4C. 😁

According to the part number this is indeed a water/coolant pump.

That is indeed the electric after-run coolant pump to cool the turbo after shutdown, located under the coolant reservoir. It's stock...
