Awesome! Did you attach the straps at the back? I'm heading home from work in about 30 minutes so I haven't taken it out of the bag yet.
Edit... didn't see your last post.

Let us know how you like the Koshi CF Halo, and how it matches up with the roof.Just got it installed. It's midnight so the pics aren't good (please excuse the messy garage). I'm taking it to the detailers on Saturday to get it PPFed and to get the CF halo installed (he put a ceramic coating on the roll bar cover a year and a half ago and because of that the double sided tape on the back of the CF Halo won't stick to it). Once all the CF is installed I'll take it out for some nicer photos.
As for early impressions, this is typical CF that requires some working. The external CF is nice and glossy. The weave of the CF matches the OEM weave on the windshield frame perfectly. Unfortunately there is a blemish in the weave that's quite noticeable (to me). There are other fit/finish things that are annoying (especially for the price point) but grand scheme of things it's wonderful to have a hard top that is this gorgeous. It is extremely light weight, which makes it feel flimsy, and out of the box is not water right. Installation and removal so far is awkward, but I have no doubt that will get easier with practice. I'm quite tired at this point so that is probably playing a role. I'm going to go to bed and focus on the joy of having something that is beautiful, light weight and unique on my spider. Updates to come.

Very nice. Let us know how it holds up against water, if it can stand rain and home wash I might just take plunge as well.Just got it installed. Mine is at the detailers. Won't get it back until tomorrow. Finish isn't perfect but it's good. So far not water tight but it may be an alignment issue. It looks fantastic. I'll tinker with it and post pics after I get it back.Updates anyone? I’m on the fence and curious about install, fit, finish, and water leaks now that they’ve been out for a few days.
So not a glowing review there, thanks for the heads up jagman.Mine is at the detailers. Won't get it back until tomorrow. Finish isn't perfect but it's good. So far not water tight but it may be an alignment issue. It looks fantastic. I'll tinker with it and post pics after I get it back.

Still quite positive, but it isn't perfect. I'll post more when I have more time with it.So not a glowing review there, thanks for the heads up jagman.
Getting the back flush with the roll bar and the sides flush with the top of the window. It has to be set correctly or the windows will rub against it. I had to resize a couple of the screw holes in the CF mounting bracket to get it to align right but that wasn't hard. It just takes a bit of practice, then it's easier.Looks great, Jagman!!
I got mine last week and I’m also taking it to get it wrapped in PPF. I also noticed some small details here and there in the finishes on the inside, but nothing major really. Overall it looks great.
What would you recommend for me to ask the guys at the shop to “improve”?
That looks as sweet as....A beautiful top. How’s the drone now? I’m thinking there’ll always be that compromise with a solid roof vs the ragtop. There’s always the Helmholtz....Interested in your observations.Just back from the detailer...![]()

My exhaust has the stock muffler so no drone. I'm likely going to go for the Alfaworks valved exhaust as my next upgrade, but that might not be for a while. That looks as sweet as....A beautiful top. Looks amazing. Have you tried hosing down the car and see if water gets inside the cabin?Just back from the detailer...![]()
