Hey guys I want to calibrate my transmission with AlfaOBD and was wondering if anyone can link me to a bluetooth OBD dongle that they for sure have used that works on android (Amazon if possible, Prime baby!).

There's so many in amazon and I'm scared to keep buying random ones till one works.

Thank you

I have an OBDLink EX cable (not BT) so guessing the BT version will connect without issue.

Only word of caution is that Multiecuscan, Forscan and similar software don't recommend doing programming or calibration via BT.

No idea on the likelihood of the BT connection getting interrupted midstream or all the ramifications but always possible.

Anyway, just a heads up in case you weren't aware. Would really suck to brick something if it can be avoided.

The cable plugs into a USB port so if you don't have that I suppose you have to go the BT route.

For what it's worth if I was in your shoes the course of action I'd take would depend on what you are trying to do. If the transmission is acting up probably no harm in trying a calibration - probably not going to do anything to make it worse.

If the calibration is just to try to optimize it, I wouldn't do it either with the cable or BT. Simply because if it's not broken why tempt fate by messing with it.

Just my dos pesos.

Good luck whatever path you take.
