A thread for us all to post our Bspk Forged rims of a certain style!

Conscious John's group buy chain is exceptionally long because of the excitement generated.

Please post:
  • Colour (+ finish)
  • Size
  • Tyre fitment
  • Suspension mods
  • Any other details (e.g. custom offsets, titanium bolts, etc)

Having lunch at Colo Riverside (again😂) . Gotta say the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are a good tyre. Comfortable enough and nicely pointy. They make you point to where you want to go when you want them to with great feed-back. The Contis grip nicely too with lots of feel. I’m not one for mixing tyre brands but this combo is good. Both tyres have similar characteristics (round, wide and black😂). The GMS front end helps too I’m sure. An acceptable combination, with nice balance. They look pretty good on the wheels too.

About the wheels: Really happy with the offset. Not too aggressive and no scraping of guards (so far). In my case I think there is no necessity to go wider with the tyres. I’ve lost 1kg or more of unsprung weight at each wheel. Adding tyre weight by going wider for little practical effect on the road and costing massively more makes little sense to this retiree.

To @John4C, thank you for your advice and patience. These wheels are beyond my wildest dreams. Simply brilliant. The offsets suit my purpose
and the colour? Yep….it does it for me. Cheers…You’re a genius. 👌👍

Two readily apparent negatives:
1. That exposed inside rim area is going to need a lot of cleaning.
2. Might have to go 215/245 simply for ground clearance. There’s a rake effect making the nose even lower than the quarter inch height reduction from the smaller sidewall of the front Super Sports. Another suspension fiddle might be needed….Then again that might screw things up for the Cup2s.

Edit: Wheel Specs.
Stefania Matrix Gold
F:17x7.5 ET 24 (Current tyre: 205/45x17 Michelin PSS)
R:18x9.0 ET 25 (Current tyre: 235/40x18 Conti Sport Contact 6)
Note: Rear tyres fitted are due to a lack of availability of rear MPS4S or MPSS.

@Alfanut looks amazing! Love the colour combo.
these almost look like 18/19s in the photos - must be slightly lower profile on the fronts, seems to make the rears look even bigger

And some final weigths
oem teledials with oem Pirelli's and tpms sensor vs BSPK wheels with same Pirelli's and tpms sensors

teledial 18' 7j et 33

oem teledial 19' 8.5j et 49

BSPK 19' 8.5j et 30

Most benefits for me are the rears because i mounted the teledials with extra Eibach 15mm spacers. The BSPK wheels have the correct offset.

Here are mine, took some photos today. Received them just over two weeks ago but couldn't check them out until today.

They are Stefania 18/19 Matrix Gold Gloss. I thought they would look lighter under the bright sun but contrary to my assumption they appear much darker which is stunning. Forgive my lack of photography skills but this is what I could offer :ROFLMAO:

Finally after 11 months I've got the wheels in. They are lighter in color than I was expecting, but I'm not mad about it... Supposed to be brushed bronze, but it's more of a gold. Oh well, stunning either way. I love how the brushed finish catches the light. Just need to order another set to give John more headaches

A friend has already mistook them for some custom CINEL wheels. @John4C you should be proud of that ;)

I think they will look great on a black 4C. I kept going back and forth between brushed light gold and bronze, both of which will look great regardless. Finally settled for matrix gold as lighter shades will require more maintenance.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I was alerted to the delivery by the sound of the UPS man throwing the boxes around in his truck. Heard it from inside my house :ROFLMAO:

He was surprised to see me standing there waiting for him as he dropped the dolly with my wheels on it down out of his truck. I say all this to note how well the wheels are packaged. They survived the brown just fine. I like how how meaningless the "fragile handle with care" note printed on the side of the box is.

Returned from a trip to find my wheels had been delivered, brushed double gunmetal gloss. They are spectacular in person, finish quality is excellent and the brushing really sets them off. As others have mentioned they were extremely well packaged too. I'll take a decent pic or two once they are mounted.
