A thread for us all to post our Bspk Forged rims of a certain style!

Conscious John's group buy chain is exceptionally long because of the excitement generated.

Please post:
  • Colour (+ finish)
  • Size
  • Tyre fitment
  • Suspension mods
  • Any other details (e.g. custom offsets, titanium bolts, etc)

So will a gloss clear-coat lighten the colour a tad? If so, that may be a cheaper way out.
Gloss will slightly.

This is a function of it being brushed though (both wheels are satin). Brushed is a clear over the raw aluminum. It's lighter because you see the aluminum through the color (e.g. the color is itself a tinted clear coat).

Just wow!!!!!!! If I had to do it over I would get hyper black over double brushed gun metal. Hyper black, wow
I was always curious how a classic wheel finish would work with the depth of Rosso. I kind of didn’t doubt it would turn out nice, but I admit I’m beyond pleased with the outcome here. That said, it’s tempting to try other finishes. They are all so nice looking! Maybe in the future we will all start a wheel-share program 🤣

275s??!! That's a ton of unsprung weight only semi neutralized by the lighter wheels. What size fronts? THose have got to rub under hard cornering loads

I was already on John’s recommended 225 & 255 in Continental Extreme Sports. One of the rears were destroyed when it was hit. When I tried to order replacement rears, I found tirerack had the line on clearance prepping for the new model. They were out of 245,255,265 and 275 was $5 less than my originals, so I couldn’t pass trying them. And I’ll admit, I do think they look awesome on it.

Perect you got the Michelins in oem specs! Always wanted to see these on this wheels.
Which spec are your wheels?
I've got the oem pirelli's on my gabriella's. They are a little overstretched.
Do your michelin protect the wheels ? my Pirelli's do'nt anymore....
very nice set up!

Answers:

The front wheel is 8 inches wide the rear wheel is 9.5 inches wide. Michelin's manufacturer's recommended specs allow for the tires to be mounted on both those widths. They are stretched but it looks good. The wheel lips are completely unprotected.
Brushed Champaign has a satin finish... at least these do anyways.
I reached out to John via private message and he had exactly what I wanted. A wonderful experience and an incredible product. Gorgeous wheels.
