Does anyone know what the carbon chassis warranty period is pertaining to the 4C? And is the warranty transferable from owner to owner? Has anyone else wondered what the life expectancy of the chassis is?

Am aware carbon doesn't continually fatigue like aluminium. However, having owned a succession of carbon fiber bicycles I know stress fractures appear. These are generally superficial, but can develop into cracks. Some manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty on frames for the original owner (ie Trek) whilst others (ie De Rosa) only offer three years.

One of my carbon Trek frames was warrantied after four years as stress fractures developed into a crack (I am not heavy either), so I'm curious to know about the 4C.

I would believe the warranty of the chassis would be the same as the total warranty which the car is sold with. That would be the same as with normal cars.

Biggest concern probably is fabrication faults. Influence of environment shall not be the biggest concern.
