This red coupe is located 10 minutes from me at a modern Volvo dealer. While not an LE, this is the car that everyone keeps seeing in weird places I've never been when they tell me, "I think I saw you driving..."

I have seen on this forum someone having this issue. It doesn't take much to mess these up. If you use any kind of strong cleaner it will soften the button even more than it already is. When I removed mine to swap the center console (thanks again @lars ) I could tell the surface was very soft. I didn't want to touch it too much. Yet another thing we have in common with Ferrari!

German and Italian cars really suffered from sticky buttons at the same time there used to be 50 buttons spread across dash and console.

Now, it seems to be the Hazard button is the only nuisance, and even if it spreads, it's not many buttons.
