While waiting on tyres I spent this afternoon giving the wheels a ceramic coat and adding some Alfa emblem stickers I bought. I’m not completely happy with the stickers but they’ll do for the interim until I can get some proper centre-caps. The postage for those was exorbitant so the cheaper alternative will do for the time being. Even the different angle of the ceiling light produces a different colour shade on each wheel. In reality they are exactly the same colour.

Squadra has centre-caps of various diameters. I was after 60mm pre-2017 emblem caps but the postage was ridiculous. I’ll order some when I do a bigger parts order later on in the year.

I know looks are subjective, but those look amazing. The way the light reflects on different surfaces on the rim gives it this rustic look but in a modern clean way. can’t wait to see them mounted.

@Alfanut @John4C - Going mad sat in the tyre shop waiting for them to put my wheels on, this is torture!! They haven't even started and I'm an hour in.

And for some reason, they just prioritised checking in the Aventador with a burst tyre

The 255s I bought previously and ran for 4 weeks are stretched. Can't even just dump them because I've driven with them.

Michelin PS5s are definitely narrower than PS4S, guys

PS4 seemed narrow on my daily driven car as well, 225/45-17(BMW E90), 8” rim:

Michelin sidewalls are rounder. That doesn’t actually look stretched on the car. Looks like a well fitted tire tbh.

I know. It was more rhetorical than anything else. I just love how the wheels look in motion (it’s not something I typically see because I’m in the car, lol)

This is perfect.

To my eyes that is perfect fitment. Love the rounded profile too. A lovely sunny English day. Hoping the sun is out for the next shots.
