I've ordered OEM caps @Alfanut - Alloy Wheel Centre Cap 50539932While waiting on tyres I spent this afternoon giving the wheels a ceramic coat and adding some Alfa emblem stickers I bought. I’m not completely happy with the stickers but they’ll do for the interim until I can get some proper centre-caps. The postage for those was exorbitant so the cheaper alternative will do for the time being. Even the different angle of the ceiling light produces a different colour shade on each wheel. In reality they are exactly the same colour.
Is that for 60mm caps? I’m after the pre-2017 emblem design.I've ordered OEM caps @Alfanut - Alloy Wheel Centre Cap 50539932
Can be delivered to me for £40 and I've got an estimate for another £20 to send to Oz, rather than the £55 they're trying to charge...

Looking forward to seeing the pics. It is weird how Michelin allocates their tires, I was surprised in Canada they had all sizes available within one day. Usually we rely on US deliveries. I thought the sales person wanted my money, but he actually delivered on time. My rims should arrive also Mondayish….so let’s see who has them on firstTyres will be on the wheels and the wheels on the car by this time next week….No luck with PSS or PS4S in my size so Conti Sport Contact 6 on the rear it will have to be. Discussing the shortage of the 4S tyres, the tyre shop thinks the 5S might be close to release. Michelin Pilot Super Sports will sit at the front. These two tyres are very close in construction and performance. It’s the most cost effective and practical route for me at present. I’ll certainly report back on how they pair up.
Group 2 / 3 should be fully shipped by the end of the month (mercifully). There’s another batch of 7-8 sets going out tonight (similar to last Friday night). I push them to ship what’s ready at the end of each week rather than waiting for more to be done.Any updates on group 2 wheels?
Oh yeah. You typically need to dismount the wheel and push them from the back to get them off. They’re snug in there.Aaaaaah the normal methods of removing center caps don't work on these stunners! The standard center caps look great but get a but lost because of the depth of the Matrix Gold.
The embossed Alfa logo means a suction cup won't grip strongly enough and I'm absolutely not taking a screwdriver to these beauties
Bummer.Oh yeah. You typically need to dismount the wheel and push them from the back to get them off. They’re snug in there.
✅these wheels come with the center caps
I understand we all have different tastes, but @John4C has knocked this out of the park.
Oh I don't disagree. You only need to see the photos I took in the other thread, I completely agree with you!!I understand we all have different tastes, but @John4C has knocked this out of the park.
Ok I tried. I did this once on different aftermarket wheels and ended up custom engraving Alfa caps on blank painted ones because it was similarly a PITA and honestly I personally prefer the engraved look (and ours are nicer than the ones I had custom done). But yeah, you’ll need to pre bend in some of the tabs and really muscle it in. It will fit but I think a nice enabled sticker is going to actually look better/be less of a headache (similar to what Alfanut did).Couldn't get the new caps to actually go on, despite 45 minutes of effort...
But, here's how they will look if/when I can manage it.
My neighbours thought I was mental sitting there trying for so long, and they actually loved the Bspk Forged ones (a much higher quality item than the OEM caps, admittedly)...
