Following in the footsteps of the great @kazkioken I’m currently installing a snowperformance methanol injection kit as well. The work is being performed by Loudon County Exotics in Loudon, Virginia. If you have anything european or unique, they do great work and hopefully on this install they’ll do great again. They’ve done all of the maintenance on my car to this point as I’ve become lazy in my old age (38). They’ll also be installing an @GMS 3 inch exhaust with hi-flo cat and a vented lexan rear window

I’ll update this thread when I get the car back this week. I’ll have to send the ecu to Toby at Eurcompulsion for a tune to accommodate for the meth. I’ll need to find a 4wd dyno in the area to see what she does at some point.

Special thanks to @kazkioken for answering my questions, @GMS for the exhaust and @Matt Leavitt from Alfa9 for the vented lexan window.

Below is a pic from the install today of the meth controller.

Love the Breaking Bad Ref. Favorite show ever.
Awesome! I've been meaning to try these guys out, I think you had recommended them earlier for the chassis bolt tightening. They're local to me, too.

I had a turbo with meth injection on my S2000 years ago, it was kind of a pain in the ass, at least for the amount of extra power I got from it. I had to keep refilling it, and ordering the liquid was a pain. Then the tube popped off of the reservoir and it leaked all over my trunk. Are you hoping to get added power or is it for longevity? I have the stage 3 EC tune and can't fathom any more power!

Its for both… if I can get around 10% more power I would be good with that. I’m in the DC area so when its hot out its often hot and very humid and the car will pull timing. With this kit I should be able to drop IATs significantly and keep pushing the car hard without issue.

Sorry for the delay. I had a family situation to deal with and the shop then took their time as I had to be out of town for a bit. The ECU is on the way to Toby at Eurocompulsion to get a custom tune and some other little goodies for the driving experience.

LOCO Exotics installed the kit to my specs perfectly. I had them build a bracket that installed to the factory mounting points in the trunk and then bolt the tank to that bracket.
They then ran the ss braided line from the tank through the plastic grommet on the side of the trunk bucket.

They also built an intake elbow to plumb the meth jet into for the intake.

And finally the meth ecu.

Additionally they also installed a polycarbonate vented rear window that fit perfectly. I love it.

And finally a controversial piece that improved the driving experience by 100% is the custom steering wheel that now allows me to see the entire gauge cluster. After 5 mins it felt normal and way better than the original to me.

When I get the ECU back I will begin tweaking the metering of meth to the engine and give some impressions. So far I’m happy.

Thanks for the follow up! Looks like they did a great job with the meth install, are you going to dyno it when you get the ECU back? I’d love to see power numbers. Or since you’re local we can meet up and do a drag race 😬 I’m EC stage 3 without the meth so it’d be an interesting comparison. Love the rear window, and the steering wheel is very Tesla.

Thats the plan, my buddy owns a shop with a 4wd dyno and I’m hoping to take it there before I have to travel again.
Next to reducing IAT, a WMI solution also avoids sooth buildup in the intake - similar but more effective as an oil catch can, as the water-meth mist also cleans the intake area incl valves.
Looks incredible! And yeah the heat soak prevention, deep cleaning of the intake area, power gains and consistency are all def worth it...keep us up to date :)
