Sounds like your Chase person is using a US wire transfer format instead of international.
The Swift code identifies his bank, not his branch. His account number gets it into his account.
Doesn't Chase have online banking wire transfers? I can do this at home. In fact, I tried to do a wire transfer to Koshi at my bank branch and they told me the IBAN was wrong. IBAN was correct. The bank clerk was incompetent. I went home and did it myself online.
You want it done right, do it yourself!
P.S. Here's a photo of his bank branch. :grin2: Put the address into Google maps and it will break down the address for you. Maybe that will help your Chase clerk.
