I am going to ask the supplier to see if he can clear coat the inside edge, they have sent 14 units so far. so I am hoping they can fix some of these issues before sending more. They tipically only coat the outside, as the inside structure is not as easy to finish, most carbon fiber products on the market looks like this on the inside, it is abnormal to coat and finish both sides. But I am checking with the supplier now.

It looks like from the image, if they could just clear coat the edge around where the mirror glass will go. The inside does not need to be glossy, just the edge trim we can see when looking at the mirror.

Good news, the supplier can coat the inside edge, it wont look as great is exterior, but it should be better. Also. It wont be here until next batch of parts, so we will have to wait a bit to see. I am going to clear coat a test unit here in the meantime to see.

A question though for the Italian flag experts... Shouldn't the flag colours on the passenger side be reversed?

Only needs reversing if you are Mexican.
