EUROCOMPULSION V2 Air Induction System (intake) for the Alfa Romeo 4C. This intake system, as all of our intake systems, incorporates our premium quality European Silicone paired with an uncompromising Carbon Fiber Sprint Air Filter. The turbo inlet hose reduces air inlet/intake temperatures significantly over the factory thin walled plastic hose. The turbo on the 4C sits between the front firewall and engine making it a "warm" area within the engine bay, so much so it requires specialized ducted cooling. This system replaces the ENTIRE factory induction system with a short and direct system which draws cool air from the OEM air duct.

FEATURES:
  • Premium European Competition Spec 5 Ply Silicone
  • Reduced Thermal conductivity
  • Significantly Increased Air-Flow
  • Will last life-time of vehicle
  • Smoothed Interior walls
  • Increased/more consistent Diameter Turbo Inlet Hose
  • Greatly Increased Turbo Sounds
  • Improved Aesthetics
  • Simple Installation
  • Reduction in Intake Air Temperature increases Engine Efficiency
  • Improved Throttle Response
  • Sprint Filter's Flagship Carbon Fiber Filter
  • Utilizes Factory Intake Duct
  • EC V2 system weights 3.6lbs less than factory system
  • Factory 7.11lbs VS. EC V2 4.5lbs
  • Est 10-15WHP Increase
  • Designed for use with our Euro+Drive Clone Phase 1 & 2 Calibrations

Price: $529.49

Mine is on its way!! I'll be providing my feedback as well, compared to the BMC filter I have now. EuroCompulsion is easily the best aftermarket provider of Alfa 4C tunes and components right now. I sound like I'm paid to say this shit, or comped out, but I'll go on record and say I'm happy to pay full price for what is the best products and customer service of any aftermarket company I've dealt with.

Looking forward to it!!

What is the filter element? Is it washable with oil or washable dry?

In for the Buy Now Button too! Curious to know, can this be used without a tune? Or do you absolutely need a tune for this? I was planning on getting an exhaust and this intake first before i get the v2 tune.

This can be used with or without a tune. These cars are wide and have adaptive logic so essentially any simple bolt on part will work without an issue.

Let me see what I can figure out for purchasing.

Is there a cheaper upgrade for converting from V1 to V2? I assume the hose in the V1 version connects from the Bosch air flow meter to the turbo inlet is the same as what you have in the V2? So can we get an upgrade price, since I just bought the V1 upgrade...

The filter and the air box intake system are available separately, with different connector diameters. This should fit if you got the hoses already.

Don't know if these are available in the US. At least, they are in Australia

whats the the diameter of the airbox inlet?
I am too interested to know if there is alternative option for non-carbonfiber as it won't be visible anyways, just fiberglass or aluminum will do the same effect I assume.

The filter cover is there to cover it from water and dirt directly splashing from the rear tire anyways.. correct me if I am wrong.

We are the only company importing these filters into the US at the moment. These filters typically take 30-40 days to produce but they will are updating production to cut this time in half starting 6/1/16. I spoke with them directly and are much more involved in the Motorcycle industry.

Do you have an ETA on when this will be available for purchase?

Sidenote, I live in the NY/NJ so I can always stop by if you need another car to test on :p (kidding kidding)
