Hmm, I'm only 30 minutes from Sarnia. Might have to pop down and take a look on the weekend!

I hope this isn't the car I think it is.

"Poor soul" - I see what you did there!!!

It’s a Quebec car. Originally delivered through John Scotti.

Price is reasonable. Last sale was on Cars & Bids in late July @$121.5k and that was viewed as respectable but not outstanding honestly (Cars & Bids really wasn’t the venue for it).

10 went to Canada. 8 were registered (one was rumored to have been exported to China, the second one is unknown but either sitting unregistered in a collection or exported). I know four Canadian owners and I doubt any are selling. It becomes a scarcity thing.

Have you seen one in person? It’s a nice overall package and the paint is nicer than anything they put on a production Alfa Romeo. Ultimately, it’s worth what someone will pay.

I have seen one at the Oakville dealer last early summer it is special indeed. Agree, color is really nice. I guess price is fair.

I have to agree with @John4C , I saw one in person at the Alfa dealership north of Houston . The paint is outstanding.

Agree with you guys, having been fortunate enough to see a Tributo in the flesh, it is a special edition. The paint color is incredible and the piano black rear diffuser and front fascia pieces really pop. Before seeing the red tub, I thought, could it be that special. It is, and tobacco interior is gorgeous. The wheel color pops nicely too. Beautifully special rendition of our cars. Wish I had the cash and garage space! 😀😀.

@John4C should be able to confirm, but I think that one was scooped up by a lurking Canadian ex-patriate 😀 but don't fret, it still resides State Side 🌴...

Is it so different from rosso competizione?
On pictures looks quite identical, in Europe this series was not sold unfortunately so never seen one in real life :-(

Yes. Extremely different. I owned both at the same time for a short period. The Tributo color has much more depth to it. It’s hard to explain but side by side the Tributo looks a little darker but, ignoring the tone, it looks like a more expensive car because of the quality of the paint.

Yes, it must be from Scotti. My guy said that they sold it over 100K CAD - the price on paper was just over 90K (I guess).

this car was in Sarnia at a KIA dealer I believe their last asking price was 120k ish and now Scotti bought it. Interesting !

The Kia dealer sold it (and I was told it was for more than they had it listed, after the BAT auction they got a lot of inquiries).

I think he means it was originally sold new by Scotti unless I’m completely misunderstanding (that YouTube is 2 years old).

Yes, the car was originally sold by Scotti. I believe it was sold just over 100k (100-110k I’m assuming). I’m not surprised if KIA Sarnia sold it for 120K.
