Looks like my car has sold and the buyer is looking for recommendations on transport companies that can handle the low clearance of the 4 C. Any thoughts for him Chicago to San Diego?
Appreciated in advance!

I purchased my 4C last year from Park Place in Washington State and had it transported enclosed to New Jersey with the Transportaion company they recommended. I don’t remember the name of the Company but the owners name is John. His number is 425-750-0983.
I checked many other companies and his rate was the best. I think it was $2300.

Congrats on the sale! Gorgeous car so not surprised at all.

As for transport companies. I would personally just use a broker or put it on uship and get bids. Definitely do enclosed but there’s no difference between an Indy and one of the “premium” brands like horseless carriage etc. I’ve heard horror stories and great stories about all of them.

Make sure the buyer has it insured before it gets on a truck, that’s the biggest thing.

Used these guys last Aug/Sep. NM to PA. Great people to work with and pricing was very competitive.
Small company husband/wife team. Pam schedules and coordinates, Dan drives. Super nice people very professional. Excellent job loading, documenting, protecting and off loading car. Check them out.

I used to work in the collector car industry and dealt exclusively with Passport Transportation. Their drivers regularly ship cars worth 7+ figures cross-country, and many of them have been driving for 20+ years.

I’ve scheduled 100’s of trips to and from Pebble Beach, Amelia Island etc. and have never had anything but a great experience with them. When I had to ship my 4C home during a snowstorm earlier this year, they were the people I called. Super professional, communicative, and experienced.

I just used Passport this week and they impressed me. The tracking link they provide is actually really helpful, and the car was picked up on-time and arrived on-time, and in good shape.

I've used Reliable several times in the past but for this move they replied with "We currently don't service that route", so I decided to try Passport.

I used CarsArrive and it was on an open carry trailer that had four other cars being transported. No issues ands it cost around 650.00 this time last year. Watch those wheels!! It was shipped from Va. to Maine
