Just a note to those that may have interest. I installed an old school retro Panasonic CQ-TX5500 tube pre-amp in my 1991 Mazda Miata complete with VU meters and blue tooth auxiliary input. It is AWESOME! It is a 2 DIN faceplate setup. Yes, that is the vacuum tube on display! Anyone willing to try it in your 4C, let me know.

Hah, I remember that unit, but I've never owned one. I do however have quite a bit of tube audio in my house.

Guess OP is unaware the 4C has a single DIN hole with zero room for double.
Oh, I thought it was to be installed in the rear boot so that the tube would be pre heated by the motor :)
Interesting unit, but given that I have my home tubes on SOLID structures to avoid/minimize vibration my OCD would take over and then I would never drive the 4C or any car it was installed in. I know there are some that say tubes are resilient to shaking....I don't lol
