^ I received mine too!

Hit 55° and sunny today — took the 4C out for a little cruise and grabbed this sunset while picking up some pizza 🤌

Hello everyone,

Thank you for grabbing our attention on this. We’re trying to understand which app you are referring to, whether if the new “Alfa Romeo” app or the old “Alfa Connect” app. Can you please post a screenshot of the app icon with it’s title so we can better help answer any questions you may have about the app

Thank you,

William

My coolant reservoir aluminum cap arrived yesterday, very nice. View attachment 140541 View attachment 140542 View attachment 140543

I love that and just ordered one as well after you posted this. Will look way better than the garden variety one Alfa gave us;)

Finally …

Pulled the cover off GiGi…

Unlocked the door… opened the boot… checked for obvious challenges… water all good… oil looks good… everything looks ok…

key in ignition… heard the pump kick in…

Turned the key… click click… even with a maintenance solar panel it wasn’t enough... Out with the jumper cables…

started then… checked for leaks and lights(indicators etc)…

around the block for a quick shakedown…

so next will be a short 500km jaunt in a couple of weeks… the aircon isn’t working(out of gas I suspect) so I will try and avoid the heat of the day… and any major pile ups on the highway home… I hope…

more work to do when she’s home… brake fluid flush, basic service, etc…

Lovely and somewhat relieved to hear, Andrew. Are you doing the loop through Dorrigo, Armidale, Walcha and down the Oxley? A nice run if you do.
Or a run to Brisbane or Sydney?

I don't have time to mount them tonight but had just enough daylight left to see how they look. Front is a 235/40/17 Toyo R888r, looks a little large because it's just sitting in front but it is a 24.5" height similar to stock. Other car was in the way so no rear picture until tomorrow.

Brmm brmm.
Another glorious Autumn day in the View attachment 140623 garage.
OPH near Brooklyn?
I got a pink slip for my 4C this morning. All good, then took the Giulietta over the river at Wiseman’s to Gunderman, only to find the Wombat Cafe was closed. No guesses as to who was the wombat.😉😁 Back to Colo Riverside again….My wife wanted soup…..on a day like today? No point in arguing. A lovely day for a drive.

They take their time. Then again, it’s only been a month. 🙄 I just received an email response telling me I was correct about the 4C not having a rear tow hook position and they have amended the certificate. I wonder when I’ll actually receive the hard copy?
Just received a final email explaining the Certificate of Origin for my 4C will arrive next week.

I had the battery replaced at the dealer yesterday. No known issues but after 5 1/2 years I wanted to play it safe. Decided against the light weight batteries.

Switched back to stock ECU before taking car to the dealer and dropped a 10mm wrench which dropped to the pan. It stayed there for my 20 mile trip and they fished it out.

I’m not sure… a brake fluid flush is required before any spirited driving... I will probably play it safe and do the boring run down the pac highway… I live near Nambucca Heads now, so a run up to Dorrigo is only 30mins away…

Also I plan on picking her up after a wedding in Byron, as we are halfway to Brissie… it it will be a bus trip… though… not really sure how I’m going to pull up… lots of berocca and water on Sunday… stay at my brothers place Sunday night, then head back on the Monday… I think.

After 600km yesterday in a big modern comfortable 4wd, im surprised how much it knocked me around… the roadworks around the Gold Coast are going to be very very unpleasant in the 4c… time to do some route planning! 😂
