I've been dealing with CELs (Check Engine Lights) that I think are due to battery power fluctuations, so I installed an Ancel BM300 Battery Monitor to help me keep tabs on my battery and to further troubleshoot the CELs.
I wish that I could tell you that I got this somewhere reasonable, but it came included with a brand new soft top that I bought from another member here. 😕Could you please tell me where you got the spider soft top pin protector from? I did not get one with my spider.
Yeah unfortunately. I followed Docron’s awesome post. Used diff bulbs from Amazon but still got errors. I don’t mind tho, I love the look. As far as I know nobody has found error free bulbs that work. Overall an nice easy mod tho, and only $32 for the bulbs I chose.@JHG get any error codes?

How do you order one of these again? The Lotus packets of origin are top notch—be nice if the 4C had something similarThe postman delivered my 4Cs’ Certificate of Origin this morning…

Here you go. Now everyone will want one. 😉😂 They don’t come cheaply but not too exorbitant. Good quality card. I have one for my Sud so I thought why not for the 4C. Mine was delayed because I had to remind them the 4C only came with a front tow hook. The original proof copy said front and rear tow hooks. I couldn’t let that pass without comment. They amended after checking. How do you order one of these again? The Lotus packets of origin are top notch—be nice if the 4C had something similar
Only two fancy ones with the electronics…and maybe one simple emergency one. I’ve so many keys sitting in my my key bag I forget. I’ll check to see if I remember correctly. I noticed the 3 chiave con telecommando too….but I definitely only have two of those….unless the dealership kept one.You got a third key?
No worries, Alf. Please to be of assistance. Just glad your tyre could be repaired at minimal cost. Those 19” doughnuts aren’t cheap.View attachment 141052
I picked up a foreign object in my left hand rear tyre and had a slow leak which triggered the low pressure alarm
I didn’t want to drive it in case I made the damage worse
I don’t have a jack at home that is compact enough to fit under the 4C
Fortunately I know @Alfanut and sent him a distress SMS. He dropped what he was doing and drove to my place with a scissor jack, hockey puck and special socket (to avoid scratching the wheel).
We were able to jack the 4C Spider up and get the wheel off
Took the wheel to the tyre workshop and they were able to repair it for $35 AUD
Wheel back on the car, pressure adjusted and ready to drive again
Thanks @Alfanut for your help today and the loan of your jack from the 147. Being a multi-Alfa owner has its advantages sometimes.
