New owner and new to this site, I picked up a beautiful 4C 33 Stradale Tributo, with all accessories, would like to hear from other owners about maintenance, where you think the market is going on these,

How many miles is too many to hurt the appreciation?
Regards,

Start with a few photos please. Keep the Tributo in a sealed bubble in your car space and buy another 4C to appreciate its true value as a drivers’ machine. Care and servicing is the same as any other 4C.

I’d say it would appreciate regardless if it stays below 5k. Most lower mileage 4Cs are all appreciating well as is. The limited run tributo is no exception.

As for maintenance I doubt it would be any different than a base or launch edition. They all share the same parts. Idk why you’d need maintenance if it’s intended to be a collector car though

How many miles are on the car and how much, if at all, do you plan to drive it? It's hard to answer because there's a little bit of an assumption with Tributos that people don't drive them. I didn't drive mine - so no judgement.

Congratulations on the car though. What made you want a Tributo specifically?

I personally don't think they will appreciate significantly from here on out compared to real-estate, but all 4C's seem to be holding value. My honest advice is enjoy the car, and mod it to your taste....pretty much everything for the 4C is bolt on.

Essentials "mods" to sort a stock car
-GMS or Alfaworks alignment blocks
-GMS plug and play catch can or a DIY solution.

Maintenance
-Check the entire cam belt yearly. Replace the cam belt, water pump and tensioner together when any of the 3 are needed. I did notice other cars with the same engine have cam belt replacement after 72K miles or 8 years. After 3K miles and 5 years mine looked new.
-Assuming your not tracking the car and your trying to preserve the car while you enjoy it I would avoid any cosmetic wear and tear and only do the bolt tightening based on miles not time. Ideally have that done by a restoration shop and not a general mechanic.
-Take care of the leather dash. They are the biggest POS BS part on these cars and the newer cars/parts are worse than older ones.

Preservation
-Buy a set of full leather seats without the microfiber while you can get them on Ebay and swap out the seats to preserve the originals. The covers for those seats are over $9K if you can get them.
