Standing behind the car it looks like the black tint is deliberately shaped to block the 4C logo , you have to lean right over the boot to see it. Was this intentional, to add mystery?

@goldmax It was so people would ask "Is that a Lotus?", "Is that a Ferrari?", "Is that a Maserati?", "Is that a <insert rare beautiful car name here>?"
It was also so that every kid that has a computer racing game could spot one from a mile away and go "that's an Alfa Romeo 4c" and be smarter than their parents.

That could be true 😀 although if you look the black glass is shaped only to cover the ‘4C’ lettering.

The only other place with the 4C logo is the small one in front of the passenger, and inside the headlight. No badges or logos on the outside besides the Alfa badge front/rear and wheel caps on most cars.

Looks like it's related to how the hatch is reinforced for the prop bar support.
