A thread for us all to post our Bspk Forged rims of a certain style!

Conscious John's group buy chain is exceptionally long because of the excitement generated.

Please post:
  • Colour (+ finish)
  • Size
  • Tyre fitment
  • Suspension mods
  • Any other details (e.g. custom offsets, titanium bolts, etc)

Finally. Double gunmetal 17/18

As a point of comment, the german banned above confirms everything I feel about the German feelings of superiority and precisely why I dislike and distrust their vehicles. They will never admit anything or anybody is a good As they preceive themselves to be. Sorry, had to drop filter for a minute. Missed that BS last spring. My BSPK whis are light, gorgeous, well finished and I just them. PERIOD.

I sway back and forth about getting a lighter, more yellow gold for my Stefanias but I find, after washing (most of) the brake dust off, I fall in love again. My two criticisms of Matrix Gold are; 1) that the colour dulls quickly during an enthusiastic drive due to the effect of brake dust, and 2) that without the gloss clear-coat it seems more susceptible to stone chips (but that could be a factor of the pronounced curve of the wheel spokes)..A minor point, admittedly ….But when it’s clean I love it.
After todays wash….a little brake dust left on the inside dish to show the effect.

These guys arrived yesterday but I won't have time to put them on until next week. A bit different from what most people go with but they look incredible. Thanks, John.

Gorgeous! I’m dying to see these on. I am not sure that I have seen anything this style on a 4C before so excited to see the result. The classic styles are classic for a reason but it's always fun to do something a little different.

Worth noting, this is an interesting fitment in that @Ziggy Zeckleman intends to use them as AutoX wheels. We made the widths and offsets so that he can still compete in the Stock Class according to SCCA guidelines. Just another example of how literally anything can be customized to align to how you intend to use the wheels.

Thanks again for sharing @Ziggy Zeckleman and I can't wait to see them mounted 😁

Continental MaxContact MC7, so new my tyre shop doesn’t yet have a price on them. Wait a couple of weeks. They will be available in oem 17/18” sizes as well. The full size range isn’t yet available but it is growing (see screenshot below). This tyre is reported to be Conti’s competitor for the PS5. I’m about to buy it for my front wheels. Conti has said it’s available but they haven’t given a price for it yet. I do run the old MC6 and find it satisfactory for the road. The MC7 should be a step or two up.
I’m currently a Conti fan due to their tyres being light weight (comparable to Pirelli and Michis) as well as having a good ride-handling compromise. They are cheaper than Michis in my market too, which makes them attractive for me as a retiree. A friend of mine with whom we drive on our annual Alpine Tour recently described to me how the Sport Contact 7 (he actually listened to and acted on my recommendation, much to my surprise) was the best road tyre he has ever experienced on his 1750TBi Brera. He wore out a pair of front PZ4 (Sport) Pirellis in about 6 months. My beef is that the Sport Contact 7s are not available for our front wheels BUT the MC7 (it has a very similar tread pattern to the SC7) should be available shortly. My tyre shop told me to call again on this Tuesday coming (Sep 3rd).

Double Brushed Gunmetal Gloss Teklas!

I’m absolutely in love with these! Wish it hadn’t taken me 10 months to be able to mount them. I went with black titanium lugs which coming from a setup with spacers saved me 7.5lbs! Used black metal stems too. Everyone at the shop was amazed with not only how beautiful they are but the build quality too, everyone was drooling over them. My car feels significantly better, lighter steering, smoother, more stable at highway speeds too!

Thank you @John4C!
