How to tow a 4C?

I have a new 4C LE coupe. I was curious to know just how you would tow/transport it if necessary? I know the included tow hook in the trunk is not intended for pulling it onto a flat bed lift tow truck. Where would you connect the pull straps for that type of flat bed hauler or tow truck...around the suspension A frame or....

Of course I never want to have to do that but just curious. It would break my heart if bad towing procedure and damage $$$ was done to it.

Hey Bob. Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I can confirm that it will drive onto a low lift truck.
I had a puncture a couple of months back, and ended up getting towed - they specifically sent a low loading truck (spot the Porsche branding) designed for exotics.
If you find yourself needing towing, I'd ensure to request such a truck from your roadside assist service -apart from being more phsycially suitable, you'll also be more likely to get a skilled and careful operator (the guy who towed ours was excellent).
Another tip - All Weather Mode on the transmission makes the throttle really subdued, which is great for maneuvering in such a state.

LMAO

I've had to get mine towed four times I think. It's a lot more enjoyable to drive the 4C than not drive the 4C ...

I always tell them to treat it like a Ferrari.

Since I have a license plate where the tow hook would go, I have them use a 'soft tie' on the lower control arm to pull it up.

Then the run a soft tie through each wheel to secure the car down. The front tires get pulled fore and the rear tires aft. (Sailing talk for 'before' and 'after'.)

There is no provisions for this sort of transport. The entire underbelly is fully shrouded and flat.

On other cars I've been able to run a strap over each tire so only the rubber is in contact with the strap. There is a special webbing for this. But the 4C body gets in the way.
