I do that too, by yourself its easy to fit a weeks groceries in. With the wife not so easy. Always put fresh food/meats/fish in the cab, hard stuff in the boot.

 

Yeah it get SUPER hot in the trunk. Even the little compartment between the seats gets really hot as well

I second that. There’s more chance of Hell freezing over than getting me into a shopping centre car park with Rosie.

 

Lol. I've been known to take mine to our local (small town) HomeDepot for some small bits when another vehicle is not available... No biggie - I just park really far away in the most remote parking lot where no one parks.

But agree to a point - I will not for example take 4C out "to the evening movies" or into downtown Ottawa, etc. Nope. Too many risks - and sometimes jealous idiots that think no one should be allowed nice things.

 

That’s definitely a concern for me. That’s why I opted for fantastic insurance coverage 😃

 

I park in the supermarkets which don't get full, park far from the entrance, usually it's safe and sound. You have to know your area and be smart. The thing is your car could get vandalized anywhere when it's not attended.

 

Maybe we all need two 4Cs, one to use and one to be a queen.

When I go I always park far far far away, when I come out of the store I’m surrounded by trucks and minivans - with the half parking lot up front still empty

 

I've stuck this in my window, seems to work so far

 

 

Hauling the uber eats not bad, but when you really need the workhorse, that's when you take the Porsche.

 

Yeah I wouldn’t dare in my 4C. I’ll leave it to the German workhorse for more demanding tasks 🫡
