UPDATE: Parking pass sold.
Hi all!
I'm selling my two 3-day pass VIP PSL tickets to the Formula 1 race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. My wife and I went on our honeymoon this year, so we are out of vacation time and can't make it to Texas.
These VIP tickets grant you access to all of the events (other than the concert) Friday-Sunday. The seats are located at Turn 15, Section 2, Row 5, Seats 7 and 8.
The race is Sunday, October 20th with qualifying and practice sessions on October 18th-19th. There are several other supporting races that occur during this weekend that these tickets gain you entrance to as well.
These are VIP PSL tickets, which means that you have specific seats in chairs that have comfortable backs and cupholders - much more comfortable than the standard bleachers. In addition, PSL ticketholders get the following perks beyond normal ticket holders:
-Pitwalk exclusive to PSL ticket holders (this happens Thursday night, so be sure to arrive a day early!)
-Private trackside bars and food vendors
-Private full restrooms with hot/cold water, flushable toilets, AC, and granite counters (other racegoers use portapotties)
-Access to the grandstand premium Velocity Lounge
-Access to an air-conditioned covered pavilion with live DJ, dance floor, bar, live TV coverage of the race, and other amenities
The seats themselves are, in my opinion, the best on the track. They have a prime view of the challenging Hockenheim Ring section of the track, and the back straightaway points right at the seats. This is the most technical section of the track and is where many of the overtakes tend to happen. There is a ton of action at this place.
The seats are located roughly where the "X" is on the map I've attached. I've also included a view from the seats you'll be getting. If you look to the left from there (sorry, I don't have a pic), you can see the main back straight clearly as well.
I am looking to get $4500 for the pair with the parking passes, but for a fellow 4Cer, I would sell them for $2900
COTA is sold out for all grandstand seats, and the PSL tickets are not available to the public anyways. The pitwalk that is included is only available to PSL ticket holders (which these are) or people who spend almost $5000 each for a Paddock Club Package, so this is effectively more than half off.
