How to prevent and or remove dirt marks between the cut lines of PPF..

Hi all, wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get rid of dirt marks in between the seams of the PPF film.

I had my entire car covered last year. The installer was ok and the film was already pre cut from the manufacturer ie the installer didn't have to do any custom cutting.

However after a few days of driving her, I began to see dirt lines across the body! - I have Giallo Prototipo which may make for more obvious dirt showing but am wondering if there is anything I can put on her to prevent or minimize these dirt marks.

I would much rather be driving than washing her hence she is dirty most of the time !!!

If the dirt is underneath the edges, there’s nothing you can do. The installer didn’t secure the edges down well enough.

If it’s just dirt buildup along the edge, simply washing the car should get rid of it. Or use some detail spray to remove it.

And when you wipe the car dry, try to go from ppf toward the edge.
Going the other way will trap more dirt up against the edge.

I have friend that ceramic coated his car after PPF, no dirt accumulation at edges since the CC seals it.
