Considering replacing OEM stock plastic instrument bezel with a carbon fiber unit. I would like opinions on which is best way to go, the matte or gloss finish. I have read that the gloss may cause possible sun glare problems.

Matte. Gloss will reflect annoyingly (unsafely) on the windscreen. It's matte from the factory.
I agree with Philster.....my LE car has the matte factory CF. Even it has a bit of a reflection on the window. The gloss would be horrible for reflection.
I have a matte carbon binnacle that already reflects in the windscreen in some light conditions. A gloss one would be even more annoyingly distracting.
