In Texas we don't count clear as a stage :ROFLMAO:
Then Rosso Comp and Madreperla are dual stage paints and the other colors are single stage paints.

There’s a distinction between stages and coats. Coats are literal. Stages are elements that combine to form something else. Paint is fun! 😂

Don’t forget primer. :p
I’m just sitting back and smiling. What cheeses me off when naming colours are those who call Rosso Alfa, Rosso Red. 🤦‍♂️😂 Please everyone, don’t.🙏👍

Koshi double and triple checked when they color matched a custom engine cover I commissioned.

They sent me this first and were like, “Are you sure?”

And then sent me what they used for Rosso…

I think 289A was the correct choice ;)

For reference, 19 shades were introduced on 4Cs. The 913 has always confused me though.

There seems to be an error in these charts. It relates to the end dates for each colour.

As pointed out by John4C, Bianco Madreperla formulation changed to Trofeo but the name remained. Similarly with The Bassalt grey changing (also in name?) to Vesuvio. Yet these show both colours continuing to 2024. Carrara White was discontinued in 2016 or so, not 2024. But I like the chart otherwise. Haven’t checked the data against other sources though.

Yeah, this confused me as well.
