Hey Guys,

Here it is: my first thread ever :smile2:. Don't know where to put it though :wink2:.

Wandering on eBay I found this australian vendor with two types of Tubi Style exhausts, sides and center.
(for some reason links don't seem to work here, but search them on ebay with location 'worldwide')

Searched Google images and came along Tubi's facebook site, so they seem to be there!!!

Me very happy >:), as I want a valved exhaust since I use mine daily (and have migraine in stressfull times :crying:).
Any idea whether this would work together with more powerful options like race ecus and twin scroll turbos?

Looks good but is expensive. Doesn't say whether it comes with new mesh sections to incorporate into the rear valance.

Also if this product ships from the factory in Italy then there must be another way of buying it rather than via Australia. Good news for EU customers is no additional tax, but it's still too expensive for me to consider over the Stradale centre exhaust option.

Contact Tubi Style in Modena or via FB direct if very interested. They, like other shops there, are loose when it comes to exactly how they distribute.

9/10 times, Tubi wins in my ear on so many different applications, and I would think they'd never let anyone down with an exhaust for such an important car built in their neighborhood (literally), and with a staff of people who've worked at Maserati, Ferrari, etc.

Tubi exhaust products are probably the only thing you can add to a Ferrari and not hurt (and probably boost) its value.

Already did that :wink2:

Great information!
I moved your thread to the Engine and Technical section as I assume people looking for exhausts would gravitate to there.
Thanks 4Canada. Didn't know how to do. Had to search for 'new thread' as well. This is my first ever started thread on any forum

Adding to the comment from Alfa 9. I have a Capristo system, on for over 2 years now and it has been flawless. It is a Valved System that is programmable . The quality is second to none. I really wanted to just 'Hang It" on the wall, as this system is "Automotive Art". BTW my cousin has two Ferrari's and has a Capristo system on both, one for over 5 years, zero issues.

Damn... I think the three-outlet center arrangement from Tubi is the first real mod I want to do... if the sound matches my imagination.

If it's valved, I'd removed all the valve control crap and install it with valves locked open.

Curse you for posting this, @CJeazy -- I will obsessed now.

Well, I am already inquiring w/ Tubi about a sound file for the three-outlet arrangement, and chance to have one built free of any controls/electrics.

About 3,500€ valved in Europe. Would be over 4100 USD in USA, valved.

Would think no controls/valves would contain costs a bit. I don't want them anyway.

Well, Italy will be working soon, and I'll let you know.

Tubi has been responsive in the past, so we'll see.

Seems I'm chatting more with you folks Down Under, because I am currently in India, so we've got more overlap with time zones currently. :)

I've asked Tubi the sound files as well but didn't get them by now. They quoted me 2300EUR, which is $2700, without taxes nor shipment, so $3500 seems a lot.

I wasn't shure about these sets. I think a 4 tube is over the top for a 4 cylinder engine.
And I found the 3 tubes a bit to Ferrari 458. But they are growing on my. Must be CJeazy's comic ;-)))

I messaged Champion Motorsports twice on Wednesday but still haven't heard back.

The Facebook account Tubi Style Exhaust said they would get back to me on Monday with details. I asked if they have any videos of the exhaust and whether it drones. I also asked where to get it since Champion Motorsports has not been responsive.

The Facebook account FIA Dealer TubiStyle out of Belgium has been very responsive. They said €2300 for the 3 pipe center exit valved exhaust and €150-200 for shipping. I'm still not sure about import taxes. I'm guessing that translates to $3,100 delivered after taxes.

I asked them to consider highlighting...

1) a slow start from stop with the valve closed to show how quiet it can be.

2) a fast start from stop with the valves closed

3) a fast start from stop with the valve open to show how loud it can be

4) a ramp up in speed with the valve starting closed but opening on hard acceleration.

5) the sound inside the cabin with hard acceleration (closed valve).

6) the sound inside the cabin (open valve).

7) the sound inside the cabin (when the valve starts closed but opens on hard acceleration).

I also suggested they have a text overlay on the video so the people watching would know what's happening. This of course would allow prospective buyers to know what makes this exhaust special... or at least different.

Here's are two videos they sent me...

This is the tri-pipe center exhaust:

The other is the quad-pipe side e.xhaust

The guy selling them said the 3 pipe is louder since the non-muffled part is essentially a straight pipe. He also said the 4 pipe sounds a little more refined. Clearly English isn't his primary language so I think the videos should speak for themselves.

The official vendor in Belgium is selling it for 3000€ plus a 10% discount. That ends up being $3k +US tax ($?) +shipping (~$300). Total cost would be closer to $3500, but your point is well taken. This is for someone who wants the Corsa sound at times and the stock muffler sound at times. It would be more neighbor friendly without drone despite the Corsa sound and be better in places with strict exhaust volume laws (e.g. CA). The cost is similar to getting the Akra but the valves aren't tied to the DNA selection. You can set it to always quiet, always loud, gets loud on hard acceleration and gets loud on deceleration & down shifts. I personally like this over the Akra but agree that $3,500 is a lot. Considering the Capistro is twice as expensive as this, I'd say this is a a good deal for a valved exhaust but one still need motivation to get it.
