The 4C has two fuel pumps, an electric lift pump in the fuel tank which delivers fuel to the high pressure pump that is driven off the camshaft. the electric pump works at a pressure of around 6 bar (90 psi)
The high pressure pump is a single-cylinder pump with piston operated by 4-lobes on the cam of the intake camshaft.
The Flow rate of the pump is 0.89 cm3/rev;
Pressure range 20 - 200 bar with 4-7 bar during starting;
Speed range of the high pressure pump is 80 - 3500 rpm.
