I’ve dug into the car pretty well, and think it’s very user friendly if your familiar with dohc 4 cylinder motors. For the most part it’s a very straight forward car (power train wise) the service manual makes life easy.
Recently performed my 5 years service after an accessory belt tear.

Smooth driving (you, not the GT3).
The mechanical grip on those cars is so amazing, he can be pretty fast despite his lines.
Did he ever let you past? I'd be curious if he'd ever catch you again, as he only seemed to get away from you on the straight but he braked way too early. Probably didn't want to pay for new Porsche brakes any sooner than he had to! :p

I couldn’t pass him even if i pulled a Flintstones’ move xD

His biggest mistake was braking to damn early yes...and i do know that track a lot better ;-)
