I ordered mine from my local Alfa/Fiat dealer. I posted the part number. Tell your dealer to pull their head out of their ... and see the light of day.

I have them in stock www.alfaworkshop.co.uk, parts, Alfa 4c, performance parts
Are they the same as the ones in this post from Racer Z? http://4c-forums.com/14-tires-wheels-suspension/13481-wheel-alignment-specs-4.html#post298498

part numbers are different
Yes and no racerz is using the old style shims which have been superseded by the ones on our site. The old ones fall out when you loosen the wishbone the new ones stay in place and are easier to use.

I have about 8,000 or 10,000 miles now since my alignment. 14,700 total miles. That was about four months ago.

The tires are almost worn out now. The rears are worn the most. The wear is nice, even, flat across all tires.

The car feels great on most road surfaces and conditions.

There was some confusion (still is) about the alignment specs. I really need to go to a different shop and get confirmation about what my current specs are, cause these are working good.

My driving usage/style is: This is my daily driver. I drive on all road types and in all conditions. Well, it never snows here. Whether it's a short trip to the market or a long vacation, we take the 4C. I only take another vehicle if I need to haul something that won't fit in the Alfa. That's why big, ugly trucks were invented, and mine is a good example of ugly and big.
Reviving this thread based on a PM question today.

I had it set to factory spec except I went with some rear wheel tow-in. It drives nice.

Now that I have about 12,000 miles since the alignment, I am seeing some signs of too much rear tow-in. I am due for tires all around, so I need to have the alignment reset anyway. Setting the rear more on zero tow seems like a good place now.

The factory calls for rear wheel tow-out, which will make the car twitchy, unstable.

I'm going to have an alignment done before I take my Spider on its first road trip in a couple of weeks. Has anyone hit upon the magic formula for spirited street use? In particular, does anyone have a toe in/out that helps dial out the dartiness? Unless anyone suggests otherwise, I'm going to have it set close to the specs Racer Z has provided and start with the following:

Front Caster: Left: +2.1 Right: +2.1
Front Camber: Left: -1.0, Right: -1.0
Front Toe: -1/16(?)

Rear Camber: Left: -1.75 Right: -1.75
Rear Toe: 0.0 (?)

Next question, do I need to go ahead and order shims or is there a chance I won't need them? If so, how many should I get? This is probably the first 4C alignment my dealership will perform so I'm going to have to be a Guinea pig.

Racer Z formula is good to start with. That is the formula I do the alignment for my 4C and very happy with it.
I also had my rear tires inflate +2 lbs each.
I did not need the shims, and in due respect, you may not need it either, BUT, that depends from car to car, and in case you need it, you do not want to find out when the car is doing alignment and you don't have it, right ?
I think to be sure, you should order 4.

Thanks! However the link doesn't work. It keeps telling me to log in for access. Once I fit the part, do I need to use any particular alignment settings?

Nevermind on the link, I found the blocks and just ordered them. Hopefully they'll arrive before my road trip. If these work, I'll be eternally grateful.

Ok, if Jamie's cars are half as fast as his shipping, he can make a Pinto win Monaco. I ordered the blocks on 1/20 towards the end of the day. I have them in hand today, and the delivery driver said I would have had them on 1/22 had it not been for the blizzard. I don't get Amazon deliveries that fast so I'm impressed.

I just set an appointment for Friday to have my dealer install them and set/check the alignment, so everyone following this thread will get an update in the very near future.

Pretty and shiny ?

Does it push the track width of the wheels out? I've read on alfaworkshop's website someone mentioned about 14mm wider? this is big for aftermarket wheel fitments..

I don't know what it is, but it is closer to 14mm than 2mm. With the 12mm spacers I had, the front wheels stuck out well beyond the fender. I took out the spacers and the wheels are flush with the fender now. I have 20mm on the rear, which still seems a bit narrower the the fronts so I am switching to 25mm to even things out. As far as aftermarket wheels, I'd look for the stock offset for the fronts and a 25mm offset for the rears.

Last weekend I drove the car for ~10 hours of interstate driving. A couple hours behind the wheel used to be exhausting. After the blocks, a couple hours isn't bad at all. The track guys may prefer the factory setup, but the daily guys should seriously look into these.

Jamie said maybe 2mm wider track.

From the thread about these...

Some things about the install of the blocks:

It seems like the front track is increased by about 14mm on each side and that the castor angle is significantly increased (x2.5). My car was set up for camber of -1 degree. This required 7 shims(!) and would not allow sufficient thread with Jamie's blue block. So I backed camber off to factory specifications and set the toe to Jamie's specification.

In theory increased castor would cause more steering effort at slow speed, but I did not find a noticeable difference.

I took the car out for a test drive on some of our more challenging country roads. In the past the car wanted to follow pavement irregularities and exhibited a tendency to lurch into road dips. I was amazed by the transformation with Jamie's blocks, the car now tracks like my Porsche and inspires more confidence when cornering. The drive is much more predictable, and I now have time to count the cows. I have to agree with Barth, that if you drive on less that perfect roads, Jamie's blocks are the most important upgrade you can make to your 4c.

Great work Jamie!

What's your point? I know that two owners estimated 14mm. I believe that I was the first one to freak out at how much thicker they looked. I relayed what the designer stated. Do I have to go find the link to prove it?

As to widening the track at a guess it is 2mm (0.08 of an inch) wider so it is not significant.
In that same thread enziof said that they were around 5mm wider than the stock and Barth said they seem wider than the 2mm. It would be nice to have a better answer on the specs. So much muddy info on these.

I'm terrible at estimating distance so here are 2 pictures of the front wheels in relation to the fender. These are with the blocks in place and no spacers.

By the way, those are big guts, not road rash. I drove it through a swarm of skeeters on my way back from the beach last weekend and haven't had a chance to wash the car yet.
